Our third annual film festival will be held Friday, July 24, 2009 to Sunday, July 26, 2009 at the world renowned Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History in the heart of the cultural district of Detroit.
Submission Guidelines:
The film or video should be by or about women of color.
The Detroit Women of Color International Film Festival requires 2 DVD screeners (copies) of your film/video for film selection and jury viewing purposes.
Please include synopsis of the film/video, a picture from the film, brief filmmaker bio, as well as history of the film (festivals, awards, viewings).
Submissions are considered only in a DVD format.
All submissions are due by Friday, May 15, 2009. No exceptions. No entry fee required

The DWC, Inc. facilitates film workshops at schools, organizations, and institutions to educate and empower girls and women. The workshops bring together film, dialogue, writing, and visual art.
